Months of operation for Palace on Wheels

The Palace on Wheels tour begins every Wednesday from Safdarjung Railway Station, New Delhi from September to April of the following year. During summer and monsoon (May-August), the Palace undergoes annual maintenance.

In view of the global popularity of the Train, it is advisable to book the train well in advance to avoid last minute hassles.
