Terms & Conditions

• Complimentary travel for children younger than 5 years. Half fare (of the total cost) for children between 5 and 12 years of age. Age proof of children at the time of issuance of tickets is to be furnished.
• A surcharge of 10% to be levied on all Christmas/New Year packages.
• Service Tax @ 2.58% will be levied on the tarrif.
• In addition to the tariff, USD 15 per pax will be charged against the payment of commercial taxes.
• Tariff is subject to change without prior information.

Inclusions

• The Palace on Wheels Tariff includes the following:

Travel, catering, conducted sightseeing, entrance fee at monuments/parks/palaces, cultural programs, camel ride at Jaisalmer, boat ride at Udaipur, rickshaw ride at Bharatpur

• The Palace on Wheels Tariff does not include:

Drinks, tips, laundry, telephone calls, video camera fees, Business Car Facilities, liquor and other items of personal nature.

Booking Policy

In case of fully independent travelers (FITs)

• 50% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking
• Remaining 50% of ticket value 60 days prior to departure

In case of Groups

• 50% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking.
• Remaining 50% of ticket value 75 days prior to departure.

Cancellation Policy

The cancellation of tour must be intimated by Fax/email/snail mail to The Palaces on Wheels. The refund rates to be based on the number of days left for the departure of the train:

In case of FITs

• 60 days before departure - 95% of ticket value will be returned
• 30-59 days before departure - 80% of ticket value will be returned
• Less than 30 days before departure - 0% of ticket value will be returned

In case of Groups

• 60 days before departure - 90% of ticket value will be returned
• 0 to 59 days before departure - 0% of ticket value will be returned
